Larry was a teacher when he first started Pettis Pools as a summer occupation. He was loved and respected for his integrity. We remember our co-founder fondly and pray for a world free of Alzheimer's disease.

From April through the end of October, our staff more than doubles as high school and college students return to summer positions, and many of our part-time workers return, raising our total number of employees to seventy and more. For some, it's working at one of the two Pettis Pools stores. Students are encouraged to return with a bonus given for each year they work. Most of our student team members, already trained, stay with us throughout their college years.

We wish it were possible to include everyone here on our staff page. There are many.
